PMB Defence (PMB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Merv Davis AM, as a non-Executive Director of the Company.

Mr Davis brings with him a wealth of experience spanning a distinguished naval career and senior leadership roles within industry.  During his time with the Royal Australian Navy Mr Davis served in a wide variety of roles ranging from Combat Systems Engineering, significant ship acquisition projects and ultimately a range of senior leadership positions in Canberra.  Since leaving the RAN in 2003 Mr Davis has served as Managing Director of Saab Systems Australia and Vice President of Saab’s global Naval operations in the Saab Systems Business Unit.  In addition, he has been Director, Maritime at BAE Systems Australia and Chief Executive Officer of CEA Technologies during a period of significant growth.

Mr Davis holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Honours) Degree, as well as a Masters in Business Administration.  He is a graduate of the Australian College of Defence and Strategic Studies and a Graduate Member of the Institute of Company Directors.  His core expertise lies in operational management, strategy and business development.  Mr Davis was awarded the Member of the Order of Australia in 2001.
