Chief Operating Officer

John joined PMB as the Chief Operating Officer in June 2022 bringing with him Executive leadership experience gained within the automotive sector as well as holding senior operational roles in packaging and banking.  Prior to this appointment, John was the General Manager of the Australian and Philippine Operations at Adelaide based Detmold packaging for 5 years.  He was also the General Manager/ Director of SMR Automotive an award-winning automotive tier 1 supplier with over 90% export of product manufactured in Adelaide whilst supplying a local customer base consisting of Toyota, Ford, and Holden.

With over 30 years in fast paced manufacturing environments, his passion is in advanced manufacturing, business change and improvement especially the people development aspect in the application of the Toyota Production System and New Product Introduction frameworks.

John has attended the Mt Eliza Business School Advanced Management Program, and also holds a Master’s in Business Administration, Graduate Diploma in Manufacturing Management and a Diploma in Engineering. He is also a trained Six Sigma Black Belt.
